Suicide Prevention

There are many risk factors for suicide. If you notice any of the following in a student, notify a guidance counselor immediately.
  • Prior suicide attempts
  • Substance abuse
  • Mood disorders
  • Access to lethal means
  • Recent death of a friend or family member
  • Engaging in self-harm
  • Problems in school
  • Relationship problems or breakups
  • Bullying or other forms of violence
